Natural Gardening Tip #6

Go to a natural gardening show, there are shows and events like this all over the world. Events like this are the best way to get practical natural gardening tips and information.

The best way to find a local event like this is to read local newspapers, ask local gardeners as well as reading and posting on gardening forums.

Natural Gardening Tip #5

My next natural gardening tip is about attracting wildlife, particularly bees, birds and butterflies.

There are a number of things that you can do to attract wildlife to your garden. Here are a few tips to attract Birds and Bees.

Birds – You can attract birds to your garden in a number of ways. Feeding them is a great way, you can buy a bird table from most good DIY stores for around $20 which is really cheap.

Bees – bees love flowers. There main aim in life is to pollinate plants and produce honey, they can’t do that without flowers. So flowers are the best way to attract bees.

Wildlife is an important part of natural gardening

Natural Gardening Tip #4

I hope by now you have got some good ideas on how to make your own garden much more natural using my tips. In todays tip which is the fourth tip I am going to be talking about leaf mould and how it can benefit your garden.

Leaf mould is often used as a mulch or replacement to using peat or compost. Leaf mould is made from the autumn leaves that have fallen and decayed and made a bulky, rich soil conditioner.

You basically make leaf mould by collecting the autumn leaves. These leaves are gathered and placed in a large plastic bag, this leaves within the bag are watered and placed somewhere where they can be kept for 6-8 months where they will decay and produce perfect leaf mould.

The leaf mould can be used as a soil conditioner or as mulch.

Natural Gardening Tip #3

Today’s natural gardening tip is about lawns and how to make your lawn more natural and organic.

Almost everyone has a lawn, however big or small the lawn is most people do have one. Lawns are not generally thought of as part of the garden and I don’t really think many people think about feeding and fertilizing there lawns with natural fertilizers.

There are a whole range of fertilizers that are natural and include things such as Nitrogen, rapeseed, kelp meal, phosphate and potash.

Most of these will be available from your local garden center.

Natural Gardening Tip #2

Research shows that Tomatoes are the most commonly grown fruit on the planet. As millions grow this amazing fruit every year in there garden it is essential that they are grown as natural as they possibly can be.

Natural tomato foods and fertilizers are the fest step towards having a natural garden. Traditionally tomato fertilizers were made from animal derived materials, there are worries at the moment that these fertilizers are causing infections (Foot and Mouth, BSE and Salmonella) which is incredibly scary.

There are a number of natural and organic tomato fertilizers available on the market. You should certainly check them out!

Natural Gardening Tip #1

When you are buying seeds to sow in your natural garden you should always buy seeds that are certified organic. Organic seeds are considered ‘natural’ and are much better than normal seeds bought from most of the big seed companies.

Everything that grows from these seeds will be natural and organic to which is great!
